Coming to WPI means the beginning of a brand new chapter for your daughter. As she seeks to make new friendships and find activities that interest her, she will be looking for the connections that she misses when she left her loved ones to come to WPI. Greek Life at WPI is a large and diverse group of students who found these unique connections in their own respective chapters. Joining Greek Life may be something that your family is familiar with if you or your daughter's siblings joined chapters before her. Or, she may be the first in your family to join a Greek organization. No matter the case, your daughter's journey with Chi Omega will help her develop life long friendships, a passion for philanthropy, leadership skills, and more.

The common stereotypes one would associate Greek Life with are remarkably absent at WPI. Our organizations are held to high standards, both by our own chapters and WPI Administration. These standards have brought forth measurable success for the Greek community as a whole. In 2018, WPI Greek Life won several awards at the Northeast Greek Leadership Assocation (NGLA) conference held last winter. One of these awards was the Amy Vojta Impact Award for Multicultural Initiatives, recognizing WPI's Interfraternity Council and Panhellenic Council for their collaboration with the Greek Diversity and Inclusion Committee. The Interfraternity Council and Panhellenic Council are umbrella organizations that govern many of the national fraternities and sororities, respectively. The WPI chapter of the Panhellenic Council went on to win the Amy Vojta Civic Engagement Award for their efforts to increase awareness about sexual assault, microaggressions, and gender-based violence. WPI Greek Life's high standards and direct action to solve issues and unravel stereotypes on campus has helped grow the community and make the experience ever more impactful for the men and women who are a part of it.
